The Délfin Water Reclamation facility disinfects effluent from a nearby WWTP. The main goal of the project is to store the reclaimed water produced in wintertime so that it can be used during the dry summer periods.
Braunschweig is one of very few large-scale agricultural reuse sites in Germany, and serves as water reuse showcase for Germany and Central Europe. It reuses the effluent of Steinhof WWTP for agricultural restricted irrigation (fodder and industrial crops).
Rur’Eaux searches to reclaim water from low capacity WWTPs that are typically used in rural areas. The reclaimed water will be used for the irrigation of fodder crops and vegetables at a research facility.
Reclaimed water coming from the WWTP of Hisarya is used to irrigate permanent crops and arable land. A large water storage basin is the starting point from where irrigation canals transport the reclaimed water to the fields.
The project disinfects the effluent of a WWTP to irrigate horticultural crops, along with citrus trees, fruit trees… One of the disinfection techniques that is being investigated is solar UV disinfection. On a yearly basis, the fully implemented system reclaims 13.5 hm³ of water.
Effluent from a WWTP is reclaimed using lagooning techniques and chlorination. The reclaimed water has been used for over 20 years to irrigate all kinds of crops in the region, from potatoes to olive trees.
