Last 18th June a SUWANU EUROPE poster was presented at the 12th IWA International Conference on Water Reclamation and Reuse in Berlin (Germany).
This conference was organized by the International Water Association (IWA) and was aimed at bringing together experts from research and development, solution providers and application related to water reclamation and reuse. The conference topics included implementing safe, innovative & cost-effective water reuse solutions for agriculture, urban environments and landscape irrigation, groundwater and potable reuse as well as integrated reuse systems and small-scale and/or decentralized systems. Operation, maintenance and service arrangements for water were also a major topic, including monitoring and compliance, market acceptance of reuse solutions, public perception, engagement, and acceptance as well as risk management, regulation and governance and social and economic perspectives.
From 16th to 20th June, the event offered different plenary sessions with experts in water reuse, an exhibition of scientific posters and a networking area for all the attendees.
Rafael Casielles from Bioazul and general coordinator of the project presented a scientific poster of SUWANU EUROPE. Within this material there was a description about the project and its context and the main objectives to achieve. Furthermore, Rafael did a pitch about SUWANU EUROPE within the agricultural reuse session.
It was a great opportunity to meet more than 400 experts from 40 countries who attended the conference.
