The Development Company of Prefecture of Thessaloniki “ANETH SA”, partner of SUWANU EUROPE project made a presentation of its actions on the International OpenEarth Conference on Climate Adaptation and Mitigation, which took place in Thessaloniki, 12 - 14 February 2020, in the context of the publicity actions of the BalkanRoad program of the interregional territorial cooperation INTERREG Balkan-Mediterranean 2014-2020 programme.
The conference aimed to address the main issue of climate change adaptation and mitigation in primary and secondary sectors through the promotion of agricultural practices and modern effective technologies. It focused mainly on carbon-, waste- and water-footprint and aimed to stimulate the interest of scientists and citizens and to inform them about the sustainable management strategies for Balkan agricultural and agribusiness sectors.
The working group of ANETH SA participating in the implementation of the SUWANU EUROPE, presented comprehensive and ongoing actions of the project.
