DELIVERABLE 2.4 Participatory workshops report

The Deliverable 2.4 is intended to summarize the results of the Participatory Workshops. The task teams of the target regions organized ten (10) participatory workshops in order to present the project to regional actors, receive their feedback and engage the Regional Working Groups. A multidisciplinary audience was sought with a target ranging from 40 to more than 100 attendees per workshop. The task leader, together with of all task members, planned suitable activities oriented to have open discussions and received inputs from attendees about effective strategies to overcome the barriers identified and the possibilities of joining and collaborating with SUWANU EUROPE such as being involved in the regional working groups. In each workshop there were moderators to guide and support the active participation of the attendees and create an enabling and supportive environment. In total, more than 500 participants joined and attended the workshops covering a wide range of key-actors: stakeholders, authorities, managers, farmers/consumers and institutes/universities, coming from the private and public sectors.

One workshop was organized in each of the 8 SUWANU EUROPE target regions, with the exception of Spain where two different workshops were conducted in the target region of Andalusia, one in Malaga and one in Cordoba. Moreover, one international participatory workshop was organized by the project Coordinator in the frame of the EIP Water International Conference 2019.
